Terms and Conditions:

Acceptance of terms

By using the site you agree to be bound by these Customer Terms. If you are unhappy with any part of these terms and conditions, you should contact us before placing an order with us either by phone or by emailing studio@millyinspired.com or by post at the address given below.

1. About us

This website, found under the www.millyinspired.com URL is operated by Milly Inspired Limited (“we”). We are registered in England and Wales under company number 08245746 and with our registered office address at: FMA Accountants, Building 3, Chiswick Business Park, London, Middlesex, W4 5YA. Our VAT number is: 157 4234 09.

2. Accessing our site

Access to the Site is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the services we provide through the Site without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason the Site is unavailable at any time or for any period.

Any personal data and other information provided by you is processed by us in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By providing any such personal data or other information you agree to the terms of our Privacy Policy.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these Customer Terms.

By placing an order through the Website, you warrant to us that you are:

(a) legally capable of entering into binding contracts; and
(b) 18 years of age or over.

3. Intellectual property rights

We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights contained in the Site and in the material published on it. All such rights are reserved.

You must not use any part of the materials on the Site for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licenser. This confirmation will be giving my formal email confirmation, not by word of mouth agreement.

In particular, all products designed and made by Milly Inspired Ltd and appearing on this website are property of Milly Inspired and cannot be duplicated without permission. This includes all E-mails and proofs which a customer of Milly Inspired may receive.

If you breach these Customer Terms, your right to use the Site will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

You must not modify any intellectual property of Milly Inspired, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from their original format.

4. Proofs

We aim to send your proof to you within 48 hours of you placing the order. However in busier periods we cannot guarantee this. It is the customers responsibility to inform us via studio@millyinspired.com if the order is urgent and therefore needs to be made a priority.

The proof we send of your design is the property of Milly Inspired. You may print off one copy to check your proof and approve it with us but unless you purchase the file directly with Milly Inspired no further copies can be made and no copies can be used for commercial use.

You must not modify the design you have printed off or downloaded in any way.

5. How contracts are formed between you and Sellers

6. Payment methods

Purchases may be paid for using a debit or credit card through our two online payment facility (Paypal and Stripe). All prices shall be shown in your selected currency and payable in that currency. You accept that product prices in your selected currency do not vary according to your location; delivery charges will vary depending on the destination.

7. Refusal of transaction

We may refuse to process a transaction for any reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be liable to you by reason of so refusing or by reason of unwinding or suspending any transaction after processing has begun.

8. Delivery arrangements

Please view the relevant product page for the stated length of delivery as this can change dependent on the product. Any delivery times quoted are in working days.

Personalised Items:

We cannot be held responsible for items reaching a customer late if that is due to the customer not giving us the content they would like us to use in their design as soon as they place their order or they are delayed in approving their proof.

9.Import regulations and duty

If you order goods from our site for delivery outside the UK, they may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied when the delivery reaches the specified destination. You will be responsible for payment of any such import duties and taxes. Please note that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.

Please also note that the goods and services offered for sale are directed solely at UK residents. We make no representation that any goods or services sold through the site are appropriate or available for use outside the EU. Please also note that you must comply with all applicable laws and regulations of the country for which the products are destined. We will not be liable for any breach by you of any such laws.


By placing an order through our website you are making an offer to Milly Inspired Ltd to purchase the goods outlined in your order upon the terms described in your order.

When you place an order, we will require your name, email address, phone and address details. The payment method used will require your credit card details. This information is required in order to process your request or inform you of acceptance of our order. A contact phone number is needed so that we can get in touch if there is a problem with your order.

We may, unless you inform us otherwise, provide our couriers with your contact phone number in case they need to reach you to arrange the delivery of your order.

After placing an order online, we will provide you with confirmation that your order has been received but this is not confirmation that your offer to buy the items has been accepted. Our contract for the sale of our products will only exist once an order has been accepted, processed and dispatched to you.

Please note that we will not be able to meet any obligations as a result of the following reasons:

•-If the product you ordered is out of stock and won’t be coming back into stock over 28 days.
•-We are unable to authorise your payment.
•-If it is identified that there is a product description or pricing error.
•-If customers do not reach any order criteria outlined in the Terms & Conditions.
•-If our delivery companies are temporarily unable to deliver due to exceptional conditions that are beyond our control including hazardous weather and accidents.

Please note that if you are paying by cheque, on rare occasions items may sell out whilst the cheque is being cleared. Where this occurs, we will reissue a cheque for the amount.

Personalised Items:

Consumer Contracts Regulations state personalised items are non-refundable, however we endeavour to offer the best possible customer service and therefore will always exchange and replace any mistakes we make. Any mistakes which are the responsibility of the buyer, i.e., incorrect spellings, grammar or a specification which is not given correctly will incur a discretionary charge for alterations or replacements.

Due to the bespoke, made-to-order nature of many of our products Milly Inspired is unable to give refunds on such items once the PDF proof for your design has been approved unless there is a fault on our part or the item is lost in the post.  If an item is damaged in the post then a new copy will be posted to you.

We cannot be held responsible for personal messages sent to us in the post to be used in the making of a bespoke piece so please send photocopies only. We only send back the original message when asked.

We cannot be held responsible for items reaching a customer late if that is due to the customer not giving us the content they would like to use in their design or approving their proof quickly.

Information required:

If we are sending you an Email to gain information on your order we will do so within 24 of the order being made. It is the customers responsibility to make sure that this and all other email correspondence with Milly Inspired Ltd has not gone into their junk mail.


Although we work to specific sizes all items are handmade so the actual size of an item may slightly differ to the advertised size.

Gift Wrapping:

We do not offer gift-wrapping.

11.Website Product Pricing & Descriptions

Every product bought is sold subject to its product description which outlines any further specific conditions that relate to that product including, without restriction, terms and conditions that regarding approximate delivery dates/times, warranties, after-sales support and guarantees.

We undertake all reasonable care to ensure that all the details, prices and descriptions of products on our website are accurate at the time when they are entered onto our system. Whilst we endeavour to keep the website as up-to-date and accurate as is possible, there may be very rare occasions when the information on the website (including product descriptions) at a certain time may not reflect the position exactly at the point an order is placed. We do not give any warranty as to the accuracy or completeness of the information and cannot be responsible for any errors or omissions or for the results arising from the use of such information.

All measurements quoted are approximate and the reproduction of colours is as accurate as photographic and publishing processes allows.

Images of Goods are provided for illustrative purposes only and the actual Goods described in the product descriptions are the Goods you will receive.


In the unlikely event of an item being out of stock we will contact you by email to advise you of the estimated time of delivery. Should you then wish to cancel or change your order you can do so by emailing us at studio@millyinspired.com- your order will be revised or fully refunded.

12. Returns

We offer a full refund or exchange if you are not satisfied with your goods – no questions asked (excluding made to order/personalised items).  Please contact us within 14 working days of the dispatch date to request a refund. Your refund must be confirmed by Milly Inspired before the item is returned. Once confirmed items must be returned within 30 days.

To receive a refund customers must return the item in the original packaging and in it’s original condition. If the item is not returned in it’s original condition only a partial refund can be obtained. Milly Inspired recognises that if opened their ‘Party in a Box Collection’ cannot be returned in it’s ‘original condition’. For this product they require the contents only to be in their original condition, not the box itself.

Refunds will be processed once Milly Inspired Ltd receives the order back through the post or if the item is lost in the post, once the customer shows proof of postage. Milly Inspired recognises proof of postage as a postal reciept with the postcode of the delivery address printed on it. It is the customers responsibility to obtain this.

Please note the only non-personalised items which cannot be refunded are: Food goods (including straws), special orders (including cut items) and all non-resaleable items (such as earrings).

Delivery charges will be refunded only where an entire order is returned. This does not affect your rights to claim for defective or faulty goods or workmanship under the Sale of Goods Act 1979 (as amended) or the Supply of Goods and Services Act 1982.

Milly Inspired Warranty: Once the first 14 working days after the dispatch time passed and until 6 months after the dispatch date all Milly Inspired Ltd products are under warranty. A replacement can be issued free of charge in this timeframe. The warranty length for plated/brass jewellery is 2 months only.

Our warranty does not cover general wear and tear, inappropriate use, third party repair or careless handling.

13. Cancellations

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations  you have a legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods (with the exception of certain items ‘which by their nature cannot be returned – including personalised items’). You may not return products if they have been damaged (in our reasonable opinion) as a result of fair wear and tear, deliberate damage, accidental damage (by you), negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, misuse or alteration or repair of the goods without manufacturer approval.

Please notify us as soon as possible if you want to cancel your order, we will do our best to stop the order from being sent to you but in some cases will be unable to do so. In these cases you should either reject the order at point of delivery or you will have to return the item to us at your own cost. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you wish to cancel your order you must return the products to us at your own cost. You are responsible for the items until they are received at the return address and thus we advise customers to use a special delivery service when returning items and to retain their proof of postage until receipt is confirmed by us.

Transfer Of Rights And Obligations..

22.1 The contract is binding on you and us and on our respective successors and assigns.

22.2 You may not transfer, assign, charge or otherwise dispose of your contract with us, or any of your rights or obligations arising under it, without our prior written consent.

22.3 We may transfer, assign, charge, sub-contract or otherwise dispose of your contract with us, or any of our rights or obligations arising under it, at any time during the term of the contract.

We shall retain title to and ownership of the Goods until we have received payment in full of all sums due for the Goods, including any applicable VAT and delivery charges.


The risk of loss or damage to the Goods shall pass to you upon delivery or attempted delivery of the Goods to the address specified in your order.

13. Our Website

You may link to our home page on the Site, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists. The Company expressly reserves the right to revoke the right granted in this clause for breach of these Customer Terms and to take any action it deems appropriate.

Our Site must not be framed on any other website. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission at any time.

The Site provides links to other websites for your information. If you use these links, you leave the Site. We have not reviewed these third party websites and we have no control over such sites or resources. We therefore do not endorse or make any representations about them, or any material found there, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to the Site, you do so entirely at your own risk. We accept no responsibility for third party websites or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

Viruses, hacking and other offences

You must not misuse our Site by introducing viruses, Trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our Site, the server on which our Site is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our Site. You must not attack our Site via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of-service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our Site will cease immediately.

We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our Site or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

14. Waiver

If we fail at any time to insist upon strict performance of any of your obligations under these Customer Terms, or if we fail to exercise any of the rights or remedies to which we are entitled under them, this shall not constitute a waiver of such rights or remedies and shall not relieve you from compliance with such obligations. A waiver by us of any default shall not constitute a waiver of any subsequent default. No waiver by us of any of these Customer Terms shall be effective unless it is expressly stated to be a waiver and is communicated to you in writing.

15. Severability.

If any of these Customer Terms are determined by any competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent, such term, condition or provision will to that extent be severed from the remaining terms, conditions and provisions which will continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.

16. Entire agreement..

These Customer Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them constitute the entire agreement between us and supersedes and extinguishes all previous drafts, agreements, arrangements and understandings between us, whether written or oral, relating to its subject matter. Each of us agrees that neither we nor you shall have any remedies in respect of any representation or warranty (whether made innocently or negligently) that is not set out in these Customer Terms or any documents expressly referred to in them. Neither of us shall have any claim for innocent or negligent misrepresentation based upon any statement in these Customer Terms and any documents expressly referred to in them.

17. Force majeure

Where we are prevented from or delayed in carrying out obligations under these Customer Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, acts of God, governmental actions, war or national emergency, riot, civil commotion, fire, explosion, flood, inclement weather, epidemic, lock-outs, strikes or other labour disputes or restraints or delays affecting carriers or an inability or delay in obtaining supplies of adequate or suitable materials then our obligations shall be postponed for the period of time that the circumstances continue.

18. Law and jurisdiction

Contracts for the purchase of goods or services through our Site shall be governed by English law. Any dispute arising from, or related to, such contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.

Disclaimer & Limitations of Liability..

Milly Inspired Limited  does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury arising from its negligence or that of its members, agents, directors or employees or for any fraudulent misrepresentation. To the fullest extent permitted by law and save as provided above, neither Milly Inspired Limited nor any associated company shall be liable to you by reason of any representation, or any implied warranty, condition or other term, or any duty at common law, or under the express terms of the contract, or in negligence (whether on the part of Milly Inspired Limited or any of its members, agents, directors, employees or otherwise) for any indirect special or consequential loss or damage (including but not limited to loss of profit or loss of saving), costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with the use of this website, the supply of the products or their use or resale by you.

20. Other applicable terms and conditions

Promotional code terms and conditions..

1. By using a promotional code you will be deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions and agree to be bound by them.

2. The terms and conditions on the Site shall apply to promotional codes. If and to the extent there is a conflict or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Site and these promotional code terms and conditions, the promotional code terms and conditions shall prevail to the extent of the conflict or inconsistency. The defined terms used in the Site terms and conditions shall also apply to these promotional code terms and conditions.

3. Milly Inspired promotional codes can only be used on millyinspired.com and towards the purchase of items currently featured on our Site. This may or may not include delivery charges.

4. Please note that only one promotional offer can be used at any one time and any Promotion Codes are not valid in Sale periods or on Sample and Clearance items that have already been discounted.

5. The same code can only be used once by the same customer, i.e only one offer per customer.

Promotional codes cannot be used to purchase of gift vouchers.

6. The discount associated with a promotional code is applied to your entire basket. This may or may not include any delivery charges. Promotional codes can be a combination of letters and numbers, eg, SUKVST1234567, and should be entered on the payment page during checkout for the discount to apply.

7. Each promotional code will have a limited time period in which to be used and/or a maximum number of orders per code. The code will be invalid once these limits have been reached. Specific terms and conditions for each promotional code setting out these limits can be found in the communication you received with the code itself.

8. Milly Inspired Limited reserves the right to suspend, change or cancel any promotional code, at any time, in the event of circumstances arising which make it necessary to do so. Milly Inspired Limited may update these terms from time to time and reserves the right to add additional terms and conditions for specific promotional codes as and where necessary. You should review the promotional code terms and conditions periodically for changes.

9. Promotional codes have no cash value, cannot be transferred and cannot be forwarded or reassigned.

10. Any refund you may be entitled to receive will not include the redemption value of the promotional code. You will receive no more than the amount you paid towards the final basket price.
