We are currently looking for the following roles:

Part Time Studio Assistant:

This role would involve supporting the in-house team at Milly’s Cottage, creating, processing and sending out the orders on a daily basis, as well as supporting the owner in a PA capacity and completing other general studio roles.

Breakdown of job role:

Daily tasks:

  • Fulfilling orders
  • Customer service, via Email and telephone (mainly email)
  • Social Media for Milly’s Cottage
  • Supporting the owner in a PA role when required

Other tasks may include:

  • Up-dating product information on all our retail platforms.
  • Regular stock taking
  • All other general Office duties

Skills Required:
Must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good maths and computer skills. Can compile an email, use Word and Excel and understands and uses different types of Social Media.

Ideally:
Is creative and can use Photoshop.

Qualifications Required:
Must have: A GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths at level ‘C’ or above.

Personal Qualities:
The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small group or on their own. They are organised and use their initiative. They need to be friendly, a good communicator, reliable and enjoys learning.

Other information:
This role would be 20 hours per week or it can be offered as a job share at 10 hours a week. The hours are 9.30am to 3pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

Social Media or Administration Apprenticeship

Supporting the in-house team at Milly’s Cottage, managing the processing and distribution of orders on a daily basis, as well as supporting the owner in a PA capacity and completing other general studio roles.

Breakdown of job role:

Daily tasks:

  • Fulfilling orders, dealing with new orders as they come in and processing current orders
  • Customer service, via Email and telephone (mainly email)
  • Making up orders.
  • Preparing orders for Royal Mail collection.
  • Social Media for Milly’s Cottage

Other tasks:

  • Up-dating product information on all our retail platforms.
  • Analysing sales statistics
  • Regular stock taking
  • Packing orders
  • Writing blog posts
  • Supporting the owner in a PA role when required
  • All other general Office duties
  • Preparing and attending product photo shoots

Skills Required:

Must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good maths and computer skills. Can compile an email, use Word and Excel and understands and uses different types of Social Media.

Ideally: Is creative and has a practical understanding of one or more of these: Photoshop, Illustrator and/or creating a website.

Qualifications Required:

Must have: a GCSE or equivalent in English Language and Maths at level ‘C’ or above.

Personal Qualities:

The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a small group or on their own. They are organised and use their initiative. They need to be friendly, a good communicator, reliable and enjoys learning.

Other information:

In total you would work 26 hours a week at Milly’s Cottage and up to 4 hours per week would be at college.
